Mining
- We are carrying out mapping and sampling projects to assess the potential of mineralized systems in various areas of the Puna regions of Salta and Jujuy.
- We are developing internal projects aimed at generating value in assets associated with the exploration of continental lithium brines in the Puna regions of Salta and Jujuy and in Catamarca, with an emphasis on the origin of lithium, the analysis of its reservoirs for exploitation and reinjection, the characterization of variables and results from the study of clastic-evaporitic fillings in endorheic systems, and their spatiotemporal evolution in the Lithium Triangle.
- We have incorporated a channel sampling service to obtain spot samples of veins/breccias, thereby contributing to the evaluation of the economic potential and continuity of the deposits.
Oil & Gas
- We monitored the implementation of conventional projects in the Southern and Northern Sub-Andean regions of Bolivia.
- We reprocessed 3D seismic data in the Central Subandean region (Boomerang/Chapare).
- We successfully completed the Mechanical Stratigraphy and fracture analysis/parameterization project applied to clastic-carbonate reservoirs in northwestern Argentina and initiated a similar project in the Neuquen Basin.
- We expanded our educational program in High-Resolution Sequence Stratigraphy, training over 500 professionals and diversifying our client base.
Honors and Awards
- Our president, Roberto M. Hernández, received the Robert R. Berg Outstanding Research Award from the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). This award, one of the most prestigious in the field of petroleum geosciences, recognizes outstanding achievements in scientific research applied to the understanding and development of petroleum systems worldwide.
- PhD Alejandra Dalenz Farjat, a geologist at our company, and her collaborators received the “Dr. Osvaldo Reig” Award from the Argentine Paleontological Association (APA) for her paper “Lower Devonian Diachronic Scaphiocoelia Biofacies in Western Gondwana,” published in volume 61(1) of Ameghiniana, considered the most outstanding contribution published in 2025.
Applied Science. Conferences and Meetings
2025: What Happened
- We participated in the 19th Argentine Sedimentology Meeting (RAS 2025, Córdoba), where our director, Juan Hernández, presented “High-Resolution Sequence Stratigraphy: A Multi-faceted Approach and Proxies for Predictive Geology.”
- We attended the 7th Argentine Congress of the History of Geology (CAHG, Jujuy), where Roberto M. Hernández delivered the talk “Geological Exploration in Northwestern Argentina: A History of Knowledge and Challenges”.
- We served as an official sponsor of the III Bolivian Paleontology Congress (Sucre), where the book “Fossils & Facies of Bolivia 3.0 – Paleontology of Bolivia” was presented. Recently published by the Bolivian Paleontology Association (ABP), the work was authored by Dr. Alejandra Dalenz Farjat and collaborators.
2026: What’s Next
- We will participate in the technical sessions of the AAPG Rockies and Andes Workshop 2026, “Navigating Energy Frontiers: Innovations in Oil & Gas for Complex Environments” (Lima, March 4–5), in the session “Smart E&P for Complex Plays: Technology-Driven Discoveries and Production in Fold and Thrust Belts,” with two peer-reviewed papers proposing strategies for exploratory impact in Bolivia, Peru, and Argentina.
- We will be attending the Congress on Hydrocarbon Exploration and Development (CONEXPLO 2026, Mendoza) organized by the Argentine Institute of Oil and Gas (IAPG), with three abstracts already accepted for publication regarding innovative solutions in the petroleum systems of the Subandean System.
- We will be attending the 7th World Paleo Congress (IPC7) in South Africa, adding value through technical contributions regarding the distribution of Devonian fauna in western Gondwana.
Corporate
- We are expanding and diversifying our services for the mining and oil and gas industries.
- We are committed to continuous improvement, and as we begin 2026, we are preparing for a new audit of our Integrated Management System—covering Quality (ISO 9001:2015) and the Environment (ISO 14001:2015)—conducted by Bureau Veritas.
