GEOMAP S.A. had the honor of serving as an official sponsor of the Third Bolivian Paleontology Congress, held in Sucre from November 12 to 14, 2025, a key forum for scientific exchange and updates on topics related to the country’s geology and paleontology. The event included numerous technical sessions and field trips, which allowed participants to delve deeper into the study of the region’s paleontological diversity.
Our participation reaffirms GEOMAP’s commitment to the advancement of geoscientific research and the strengthening of academic initiatives that promote the generation and dissemination of knowledge.
Within this framework, the book “Fossils & Facies of Bolivia 3.0 – Paleontology of Bolivia,” recently published by the Bolivian Paleontology Association (ABP), was presented. The work—authored by Dr. Alejandra Dalenz Farjat, a geologist at GEOMAP S.A., along with Mario Suárez Riglos, Giovanni Ríos Cordero, and Andrés Muñoz Navia—constitutes one of the most comprehensive and up-to-date syntheses of paleontology from the Ediacaran to the Devonian in Bolivia. Its presentation at the conference helped enrich the technical discussions and highlight years of work and scientific collaboration.
The e-book can be downloaded for free from the Downloads section of GEOMAP.
We are proud to support projects that advance regional research and promote open access to knowledge.
