We are delighted to announce that the Argentine Paleontological Association (APA) has awarded the \u201cDr. Osvaldo Reig\u201d Prize to the paper \u201cLower Devonian Diachronic Scaphiocoelia Biofacies in Western Gondwana,\u201d published in volume 61(1) of Ameghiniana.<\/p>\n\n
This recognition\u2014awarded by unanimous decision of the jury\u2014highlights the scientific contribution of its authors: Alejandra Dalenz Farjat, Mario Su\u00e1rez Riglos, Oscar L\u00f3pez Paulsen, Ramiro Su\u00e1rez Soruco, Miguel A. P\u00e9rez Leyton, Jos\u00e9 Luis Ortiz, and Giovanni R\u00edos.<\/p>\n\n
The Argentine Paleontological Association (APA) established the \u201cDr. Osvaldo Reig\u201d Award to honor the author or authors of the most outstanding paleontological article and\/or note published during the year in the volumes of the journals Ameghiniana and the APA Electronic Publication (PE-APA).<\/p>\n\n
The announcement of the decision and the official award ceremony took place during the APA\u2019s Ordinary General Assembly on November 28, 2025, at the Sala Mayo (Mart\u00edn Miguel de G\u00fcemes and Dr. Alfons\u00edn, Paran\u00e1, Entre R\u00edos), as part of the 13th APA Congress.<\/p>\n\n
